THE APRIL FOOL: Rep. Hank Johnson afraid “Guam Might Capsize”

Posted by John Steele On April - 1 - 2010

All day, I was contemplating what fake story I could run to celebrate April Fool’s Day. But after seeing Rep. Hank Johnson commenting to the House Armed Services Committee on military bases on the island of Guam, I wish this video was a joke.

Perhaps the best part about this is that Johnson’s press people afterwards claimed that he was talking about a “tipping point” in the environmental state of Guam. But as you can see, he addressed the two “problems” as TWO SEPARATE ISSUES!

But seriously, we shouldn’t joke about this. We should be calling Japan to warn them not to all run to one side of their island unless they want to end up in the ocean. Good to see we have someone monitoring these dangerous islands, keeping them from capsizing. Thank you Hank Johnson, this year’s APRIL FOOL.

Philagrafika 2010 is a city-wide arts festival that celebrates printing and printmaking in Philadelphia, the home of the first printing presses. I produced this video for KeystoneEdge.com.
